Damaged-in-transit cover is coming. Here's what's already in place to keep you safe.

What's already in place

  • Escrow— payment is held by Stripe until you confirm delivery. The mover doesn't see a cent until you say the item arrived in the condition you expected.
  • Dispute resolution— if anything's wrong, opening a dispute freezes the payout while we work through it with both sides.
  • Estimated valueon every listing — movers know the value of what they're carrying before they bid.

Coming soon — damage cover

We're working with insurance partners to offer optional damaged-in-transit cover on higher-value moves. The plan is to make it an opt-in line item at the bid-acceptance step, priced per move.

Until that lands, our advice is the standard freight advice: be honest about the value and condition of your item, pack it well, and use the special requirements field on the listing to flag anything fragile.

Verified Mover tier

For high-value items (over $2,000), bids will be restricted to movers who have completed our Verified Mover process — police-checked, payout-bank-connected, and rated by previous senders. This is also still in development.
