Privacy policy

How we collect, use and share your data.

What we collect

  • Account details: name, email, region you live in, and a profile photo if you upload one.
  • Move details: items, pickup and drop-off addresses, photos, special requirements, and timing.
  • Payment data: handled by Stripe. We see metadata (intent IDs, statuses) but never your card or bank details.
  • Communications: messages you send in dispute threads.

How we use it

  • To run the marketplace — matching senders with movers and showing relevant listings.
  • To process payments and payouts through Stripe.
  • To mediate disputes and contact you about your moves.
  • To improve the product based on aggregate, non-personal usage patterns.

Who we share it with

We share data with service providers who help us run WL2MI — Supabase (database + authentication), Stripe (payments), Mapbox (address autocomplete), and Vercel (hosting). Each acts under their own privacy policy and only handles the data needed for their part. We don't sell your data.

Address visibility

On public listings, only the suburb / city / region of your pickup and drop-off is shown before a bid is accepted. The exact address is only revealed to the assigned mover after you accept their bid.

Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your data at any time. Profile data is editable on the My Account page; for deletion, email us. Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 you can ask for a copy of any personal information we hold about you.

Cookies & analytics

We use cookies needed to keep you signed in. We don't currently run any third-party advertising or behavioural-tracking pixels. If that ever changes we'll update this page first.
