The rules of the road for using the marketplace.

1. Who we are

We Like 2 Move It (“WL2MI”) operates a peer-to-peer freight marketplace connecting senders with movers in New Zealand. The platform itself doesn't carry goods — movers are independent.

2. Account & eligibility

You need to be 18 or older and able to enter into a contract under New Zealand law to use WL2MI. You're responsible for keeping your sign-in details safe.

3. Senders

When you accept a bid, you're entering a contract with the mover for the moving service. WL2MI acts as the payment escrow and dispute mediator. You agree to confirm delivery in good faith once your item arrives in the expected condition.

4. Movers

You agree to carry out moves you accept with reasonable care, follow road and load-safety rules, and keep the sender informed via the check-in system. Payouts are made through Stripe to a bank account you connect via the Payouts setup.

5. Fees

Posting and bidding are free. A platform fee (currently 10% of the bid, with a $1 minimum and $100 maximum) applies when a bid is accepted and is included in the total paid by the sender. See Pricing for details.

6. Disputes

If something goes wrong, either party can open a dispute on the move page. Payment is held while the dispute is open and resolved either in the sender's favour (full refund) or the mover's favour (full release). Both parties agree to engage in good faith.

7. Prohibited items

You must not post or carry items that are illegal to transport in New Zealand, hazardous, live animals, perishable food without appropriate conditions, or items requiring specialist freight licensing. WL2MI may remove listings or bids that breach this rule.

8. Liability

WL2MI is not the carrier and is not liable for damage, delay or loss caused by the mover. We provide the marketplace, payment escrow and dispute system in good faith. Our maximum liability in any matter is capped at the platform fee paid on the relevant move.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or harm other users. You can delete your account at any time by contacting us.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll let you know about material changes by email or a notice on the site.
